Notes:
- If you let the batter sit for a while before baking, it will come out lighter/fluffier.
Ingredients:
- Sourdough Starter – 1 cup mature
- Butter – ½ cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Egg – 1
- Mashed banana – 1 cup
- Flour – 2 cups
- Salt – 1 teaspoon
- Baking Powder – 1 teaspoon
- Baking Soda – ½ teaspoon
- Vanilla Extract – 1 teaspoon
Steps:
- Cream together the butter and sugar, add egg and mix until blended.
- Stir in bananas and sourdough starter.
- Add vanilla.
- Stir flour, salt, baking powder and soda.
- Pour into greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool to cold before slicing.
